DMCA Policy

Last Updated: January 2026

Filmpire respects intellectual property rights and expects users of our AI creation platform to do the same.

This policy explains how copyright owners may submit infringement notices, how users may submit counter-notifications, and how Filmpire handles repeat infringement.

1. Copyright Infringement Notification

If you believe that content available on or through Filmpire infringes your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA notice to our designated contact.

To help us review your request efficiently, your notice should include the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, including the URL or enough detail for us to locate it.
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

2. What Happens After We Receive a Notice

After receiving a complete DMCA notice, Filmpire may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material, notify the affected user when appropriate, and take reasonable steps required by applicable law.

Submitting false, misleading, or bad-faith notices may expose you to liability.

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification.

Your counter-notification should include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and where it appeared before removal.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

Filmpire may suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright or repeatedly receive valid infringement notices.

5. AI-Generated and User-Submitted Content

Filmpire provides AI creation tools, but users are responsible for the prompts, files, references, uploads, and outputs they choose to create or publish.

If a DMCA notice concerns AI-generated or user-submitted content, please provide enough context for us to locate the material and evaluate the request.

6. No Legal Advice

Filmpire cannot determine ownership disputes that require legal judgment. If your issue concerns licensing, fair use, ownership, or contract rights, we recommend consulting a qualified attorney.
